March 19th: Watch Common Threads: Stories from the Quilt documentary, and read Hawkins's text, apply information from How to Survive a Plague Documentary to information obtained as well, reflect upon visual media to utilize within exhibition, develop an outline of important key points of these sources and how to display them accordingly in exhibition
March 26th: Watch the United In Anger documentary, and reflect upon different perspectives of queer people at this time, who’s story gets to be told within this quilt? Does the quilt reflect a true demographic of those affected by AIDS or are some people missing from this?, how does what we have read in Queer America apply here?, how can we reflect the perspectives of those within ACT UP through the quilt?, reflect upon visual media to utilize within exhibition, develop key points outline and how they will be displayed
April 2nd: Read article about the history of the quilt, What has been done to preserve the quilt?, is it accessible to everyone?, reflect upon visual media to utilize within exhibition, develop key points outline and how they will be displayed
April 9th: Consider the Second National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights, this quilt was displayed in tandem with acts of protest and activism: how did this affect media coverage of the march?, how did the quilt compliment these activist efforts?, what did the quilt and the march bring for queer people afterward?, what affects did these occurrences have on those running for Congress at the time?, Love of Life Documentary, reflect upon visual media to utilize within exhibition, develop key points outline and how they will be displayed
April 16th: Review any supplemental sources found through the process of research, review visual media gathered, compile important key points and display them accordingly in the exhibition, develop a concise presentation that is accompanied by visual media, pictures that I believe highlight the key aspects of the Quilt and the AIDS epidemic along with pictures of the actual quilt itself, images are shown in accordance to each week of research
April 23rd: fine tune any needed aspects of exhibition, ensure that it is engaging and informative,
April 30th: final class and review of project
